YELLOW BAND
RUBBER BELLOWS EXPANSION JOINTS
TEMPERATURE RATING 90 ºC
(194 ºF)
The Yellow Band expansion joints are low corrugation, highly elastic rubber bellows expansion joints, characterised
by high movement absorption in all directions. The low corrugation achieves low flow resistance, and the expansion
joints reduce up to 70 % of the incoming energy. They are designed to specifically absorb expansion and vibration,
and to absorb noise and insulate sound.
The Yellow Band are constructed with temperature resistant polyamide fabric for permanent use in installations for
many years use with petroleum based products, oils, fuels, lubricants and greases, animal and vegetable fats, and
gases, including natural gas. Also suitable for DIN EN fuels with aromatic content up to 50%. In addition they are
suitable for water and air services. Temperature range is -20 to +90 ºC (+194 ºF), with brief short term rating up to
+100 ºC (+212 ºF).
For use with LPG & Liquified Gases, see Types Yellow LT Band and Orange Band. For lower or higher
temperatures, see Other Grades listed below.
The Yellow Band are used in building technology, biogas & plant engineering, water & wastewater works, engine
construction, shipbuilding, and petrochemical, industrial and solar & wind energy engineering.
The Yellow Band are manufactured within the European Union, and are equivalents to, and interchangeable with,
Elaflex ERV-G Yellow Band, Trelleborg Teguflex C, P & W Yellow Band, and Stenflex A, R & AG expansion joints.
